- Slippin' into this joint always gives me nostalgitis, the fotos and decor remind me of the first time I opened up my pops steamer chest... without the smell of moth balls. What I do smell, is the savory aroma of peanuts and beer. This place has been known for it's "H & L's Chili Nachos"... but I opted for one of their Heroes Burgers instead ~ the Black & Blue Burger (always medium). It's a blackened patty of beef topped with crumbled Blue Cheese, Jalapeno Mayo, and all the fixin's. Hells Bells Ass Tasty!!! So if you just pulled a 9 hour shift and your near the Claremont area go pull yourself a pint and FORK yourself a H & L Burger. With so much to do in the village your gonna need one of H & L Burgers to get you through the day. Raise your glass and FORKthis Joint. Sashimi P.
